What It Is

Dam-It™ Purge Plug Sets are reusable silicone purge plugs designed for professional welding environments. They help keep purge gas where it’s needed, reduce setup time, and eliminate disposable purge materials.

Why It Matters

High-temperature resistance near the weld zone helps the seal maintain performance during welding heat exposure. That improves purge stability and supports consistent weld roots.

1) Plug It

• Insert the plug side into the pipe ID.
• Seat the silicone seal inside the pipe.
• Confirm alignment at the joint.

2) Purge It

• Connect purge gas to the purge side fitting.
• Establish purge gas flow in the pipe.
• Verify purge coverage at the weld zone.

3) Weld It

• Weld with stable purge coverage for cleaner roots.
• Maintain purge while welding.
• High-temp silicone withstands welding heat exposure.

4) Reuse It

• Remove and reuse as needed (typically after just a few welds).
• Reduce disposable purge materials.
• Cut prep time and waste.
